Attorney and Law Mihai Russu, Solicitor, Mediator and Barrister has an LLM in Business Law and holds lectures within international conferences on the Romanian emerging economy and the legal framework applicable thereto.

He also gained expertise in major procedures and operations on listing and delisting of companies on the Bucharest Stock Exchange rendering also consultancy on Competition, Fiscal and Banking major issues.

An important step in his carrier was when coordinating a Due Diligence Investigation on a multinational company involved in the furniture industry. In the same respect, he analyzed and concluded Shareholders Agreements, Share Deals and Acquisitions.

When becoming the Coordinating Senior Associate of an important Law Firm in Bucharest, he coordinated both major Real Estate Projects but also Private Equity Projects – the entire structure including Due Diligence Investigations and Reports, Exit Strategies and Return of Investments under various scenarios (worst, likely and best). He also rendered legal assistance and representation to one of the well-known hotel in Bucharest listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. He continued increasing his expertise in Competition and Fiscal Law. He accomplished as well a Due Diligence on Business Acquisition under a Share Deal.

When offered to coordinate the legal aspects of a Real Estate Development Project in Reghin, Mures County he established his own Office, strengthening the cohesion of “Russu & Russu” – Associated Attorneys.

A special part of Mr. Mihai Russu’s area of legal services is legal assistance and successful representation in litigations against Central Romanian Authorities, of Air Lines Companies such as the strongest Romanian Competitor of the Romanian National Airline Company on internal and regional market including Europe, and the National Polish Airlines.

From the very moment he became a lawyer, Mr. Mihai Russu assisted, represented and rendered legal services to foreign companies from the moment of establishing subsidiaries up to Joint Ventures, corporate and contractual assistance and major transactions.

Attorney and Law Maria Russu, Solicitor and Barrister has a vast pleading expertise for 21 years in front of Local Courts, District Courts, Courts of Appeal and Supreme Court. For 2 years she acted as a Judge in the Local Court of Miercurea Ciuc, Harghita County.

Well known for her attention to details, she offered corporate, administrative and contractual legal assistance and representation to early Polish companies entering the Romanian market.

The main core of her expertise is Civil law and Business Litigation. In this respect, she won cases for major Polish Companies from the industrial and alimentary areas, recovering all the prejudices and the lost benefits and profits. In the same time, by negotiation procedures, she held unharmed for the future the business relations between the parties involved in disputes.

She also renders to companies and their officers a various range of legal services starting with consultancy and representation in front of the police departments and the prosecutor’s office, on the large area of economic criminal offences that sometimes interferes with trade operations and transactions.

Mr. Ioan Maga – Legal Counselor holds a LLM in Private Law ( Civil and Commercial Law). He gained extensive expertise working for 4 years as in-house counsel of a financial investments services company, covering capital markets and securities and corporate activities.

His relevant experience also includes one year as legal advisor of a major Romanian gas distribution company, where he was part of the professional team in charge with the spin-off of the company. Other responsibilities included verifying the compliance with the legal provisions issued by regulatory authorities (such as Romanian National Securities Commission and Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority) and representing legal entities in the Court and in front of other authorities (National Trade Register Office, National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration, Ministry of Finance etc).

He speaks English and is fluent in French.
